• From 2008 - 2010, Kevin assisted in the success of Dine Kalyna - a local food event and one of Alberta's most prestigious dining events. Featuring 100% local food, celebrity chefs, and culinary marketplace during the Vegreville Country Fair. With 450 tickets printed - the 2010 event was sold out in January!

• Another event spearheaded by Tourism Solutions is Lamont County Doors Open.This is self-driving route event with over 30 sites open for viewing including churches, museums, as well as an art show, farmers' market, the Chipman Car Crafters Show & Shine, food events and other activities held throughout the County.  

• 2010 work in partnership with Alberta Agriculture: Local Food Events Workshops
In February 2010 Kevin participated in workshops in Camrose and Brooks to help the tourism industry abroad. On September 28, we worked with Alberta Agriculture to host a successful regional workshop at Red Feather Ridge near Vermilion. Over 25 people attended including producers, event organizers, Community Development and Tourism Officers. Feedback from this has been excellent. Following this workshop, through funding from Alberta Agriculture, Kevin has assisted the Lloydminster Exhibition Association in their planning of an exciting new food event called Harvest Feastival which took place November 3, 2010.

• More Local Food Events Workshops: Kevin participated in two more Alberta Agriculture workshops in Drumheller & Buffalo, Alberta.

• The Greenhouse Tour & The Antique Tour featured in the 2011 Kalyna Guide (organized by Tourism Solutions), adopted a new look with great results.
