Photo Contest Rules:
This contest is open to all amateur photographers. Entries are not limited to photos taken in this calendar year, however, the entrant must have taken the photos within the Kalyna Country region (Northeast Central Alberta) and the entrant must have taken all of the photos submitted. Entrants are allowed to submit 5 photographs per category.

Format:
Digital files must be in JPG format, and must be at least 1600 pixels wide (if a horizontal image) or 1600 pixels tall (if a vertical image). It is recommended that digital cameras be set at their "highest" or "best" resolution to ensure the highest quality image possible.

Photos can be mailed but must be the original copy (reproductions will be disqualified due to quality). Mail photos to: Photo Contest c/o The Marketer, P.O. Box 455, Vegreville, AB T9C 1R6. Please note photos will not be returned and will become the property of The Marketer / TourismSolutions.ca

Identification:
Pictures that are submitted must include the entry applicants name and a description and location of the photo.

Submission of Entries:
By submitting photos you are granting permission for The Marketer / TourismSolutions.ca to use the photos for promotional and information print and electronic publications encompassing Northeast Central Alberta. Photo credit will be provided where applicable.

Releases:
If the photograph contains person(s) in the photograph, the entrant is responsible for obtaining, prior to submission of the photograph, any and all releases and consents necessary to permit the exhibition and use of the photograph.

Judging will take place as follows: Winners will be announced October 28th, 2011.

Winners will be contacted by email and will be mailed their prizes.
